The Founder Effect - Part Two

A mixed-media figurative experiment.

This series tells the story of a disregarded people and their search for freedom. The journey to escape oppression leads to a fracture among the ranks and enemies are made of once-friends. A newly established leader seeks not to accommodate the will of the people but to separate the weak from the strong.

In this piece, a tyrant is seen forcing his will upon the flock, castigating them for refusing to walk one more step.

What will become of them? Will they lay down? Will they revolt and find their freedom?

This my friends, is a story to be told.
