My name is Joel, I'm a digital artist from Oregon, US. I live in a very small country town in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, just south of the Columbia River Gorge, with my awesome wife and two wonderful daughters.
I've been painting and creating art off and on for as long as I can remember - I've always enjoyed building things and just being imaginitive and having lots of fun.
I paint digitally almost exclusively now - I find that the speed in iteration is such an invaluable tool. I still love and admire traditional painters and their work and find most of my inspiration in these types of artists.
I spend most of my time experimenting and mixing mediums and tech, always trying to create something new and exciting. Many of my works combine traditional digital painting with 3d, a complex process I am continually trying to expand on.
